Welcome back to The Microdose Diet a newsletter about getting more success, passion and happiness in your life and career by using alternative medicines, such as microdosing psychedelics. 🍄
Starting to microdose psilocybin might seem to you like a tall order. The stigma associated with psychedelics might feel overwhelming, or you might be afraid of being high, of breaking the law and/or of potential side-effects for your health. Maybe you don’t know where to buy quality products and what protocol to follow. Perhaps you just have never taken the time to start!
I believe The Holiday season is the best time for you to start microdosing psilocybin for multiple reasons. Read on and see for yourself!
🕜 Time Is On Your Side
During The Holidays you likely are on a break from work and your regular schedule is, well, irregular. Which makes this the perfect time to try something new without the interference of work and scheduled activities.
It also give you enough time to research and find the answers to the questions you might have regarding microdosing psilocybin. And, as importantly, as you gather information, you can make your own mind about this practice.
Could you benefit from a mood boost and added productivity? 100% yes. In parallel, it would mean making an unconventional decision, something that might make you nervous. During The Holidays you will have the time to ponder what is most important to you: mood boost + jump in productivity versus following the rules established a long time ago by others who might not have had your best interest in mind 😼.
I make it sound like a no-brainer, because I am on the other side of the decision and I know how great the results have been for me. However, I sat once where you sit today. I did spend weeks researching, pondering the pros and the cons before taking the leap. I don’t want to minimize how significant this decision might be for you. At the same time, no decision is a decision. The decision of continuing with the status quo will result in the same outcome. If you are greatly satisfied with your life, then that is fabulous! Congratulations and Carry On!! If you are not greatly satisfied with your life, then that is another story.
So are you or are you not satisfied?! 😸
🗓️ Where Did 2023 Go?
As we officially reached the last innings of 2023, the question most of us are asking ourselves is: “Where did the year go?” Better questions might look like: “What did I do during this past year?”, “How do I feel about 2023?” and also “How did I feel during 2023?”
These are questions we rarely ask ourselves. Best case scenario, we make a list of all our accomplishments, everything we got to do during the year. Maybe as well a list of all the things that we didn’t get to do. We might reminisce about landmark events, seen as good or bad; promotion, retirement, new job, unemployment, marriage, divorce, birth, death, disease and so on.
But most often we are too busy preparing our “new resolutions” for the year ahead to really assess what we enjoyed during the past year, what made us grow, what we did to prepare for a more successful, engaging and happy future. But also what we missed.
In addition to the aforementioned questions, below are some questions for you to ponder - I will do the same! Journaling is a perfect way to reflect.
If I continue on this trajectory, what will my life look like in 5 years? In 10 years? Is that picture uplifting?
What do I wish I had done in 2023? What do I wish I hadn’t done?
What do I wish I had felt?

🎯 2024 Goal Setting
So was 2023 a satisfactory year? And was it as satisfactory as you could have hoped for?
If the answer is no, then I would encourage you to explore what can be done to make 2024 a year that will feel satisfying in 12 months. I am not referring to the usual; “go to the gym 4 times a week”, “lose 10 pounds”, “change job”. That is mostly treading water.
Twelve years ago I was managing a family office, which was a real eye-opening experience on many levels. What I realized when I worked there was that if I continued to manage my career the way I was I would never get the life I wanted. For sure I would have a great job on paper, a solid comp, social acceptance and recognition. But I would never be able to live a life that, based on my own personal criteria, I would be proud of. Because it would be “someone’s else life”, a “dream life” that would have been decided by others for me, a life where I didn’t feel alive most of the time and was just checking boxes.
At the time I launched an ill-fated side business and went on to start -and fail- many ventures in the years that follow. I am not preaching to “learn from your failures”, I find it infinitely more pleasant to “learn from your success”. My point was that I had it the other way around. I though the right business, the right career would give me the aliveness, the accomplishments, the financial means, in a nutshell the life I was looking for. But there again I was just following others’ point of view - be an entrepreneur, become rich, be free. It was just another template I had borrowed from another group. It was still not my own life playbook.
But there were a few principles I understood correctly:
Incremental changes will only bring you incremental results,
Assessing what you desire based on where you currently stand / what you currently have is a very limiting approach,
The first thing that needs disruption is yourself. Not your career, marriage, weight…it is your core being that needs to be shaken up.
For many years I applied these principles the wrong way, mindlessly and at the wrong time. I did create a lot of disruption but definitely not the kind I wished! 😹
If you are not enthused with the way 2023 (and probably the 5-10 years prior) unfolded, I would recommend you make these principles yours to avoid in 5-10 years having the same un-enthused perspective on your life. However, let’s do it a mindful and strategic way.
So how do you do that?
How do you disrupt yourself in order to bring a shift significant enough that your life will be back on the right rails towards your own success, passion and happiness?
The answer is simple - microdose psilocybin strategically, with the right products and protocol. Whether you are using The Microdose Diet microdose and protocol or not is fine, as long as you; 1) access premium products, 2) use an end-to-end mindful protocol.
If you desire to see different results, you need a different approach. Not just due to the fact that The Microdose Diet is still an unconventional choice to make. But because it will help you change your entire perspective. The best way for me to explain it is by making a parallel with the movie Limitless; bigger abilities, bigger perspective, different perspective, more choices, bigger choices, different choices, less fear, more excitement...
You will likely chose to NOT make drastic life changes (one way or the other, it is your choice, microdosing will not make you do anything 🐱🚀), but your abilities will improve, your perspective will change, you will see more choices, you will make different choices, you will feel more excitement and less fear…
So what about this Holidays Season is the last one when you look at the past year and think meh?!😒
🚀This Is What 2023 on TMD Looked Like for Participants
Partakers in The Microdose Diet saw different results in 2023, however the underlying changes were very similar; 1) they trust themselves and their choices more; 2) they have more self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth; 3) they have a renewed interest for their career and lives; 4) they are able to set boundaries more easily and ask for what they want; 5) they feel more capable. In a nutshell, they know what they want, how to get it, and engage in the necessary actions - they are unstuck and lighter.
These overall improvements created very tangible results:
Career; promotion, job change, new ventures;
Relationships; met love partner, improved relationships with spouse, F&F, colleagues;
Mental Health; uplifted mood with reduced symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD;
Physical Health; improved ability to make healthy choices leading to more exercise, less alcohol, better diet;
Performance; productivity skyrocketed, improved cognitive abilities;
Social Life: reduced social anxiety, better ability to network, socialize and create meaningful connections;
Energy: high-quality, long-lasting energy;
Personal Growth: improved self-respect and relationship with self, less shame and guilt in making the right decisions for themselves, better ability to put their needs and wants at the top of their agenda.
