I belong to several coaching groups, masterminds, and “communities,” and it is tradition to pick your Word of the Year. “Quantum Leap” is a true winner, with “Transformation” as a close second.
So, what does this tell us—beyond the fact that we are all trying to summarize our lives’ intention in one word?
We want change! And not just small change, but Big Transformation.
🦘 Quantum Leap?
A quantum leap in daily life is a sudden, significant change that takes you to a new level—whether it’s a mindset shift, a new habit, or a breakthrough moment. Borrowed from physics, where electrons jump between energy levels instantly, it’s like skipping the small steps and making a bold move forward. In summary, it’s a fast, transformative jump toward a better version of yourself or your life!
🧭 Leaping Where?
Your quantum leap doesn’t have to be career or finance-related. I know that we are supposed to be obsessed with our career and money and that it “should” come first. But our money and career are a result of who we are.
So there is a case to be made for focusing on You first and your values. That is, if you want authentic success and not to realize in 15 years that you chased all the wrong goals and climbed the wrong ladder.
Your quantum leap could be in health, fitness, personal relationships, community, spiritual development, personal growth, …
😌 First Step: Calm the F. Down
To create meaningful change, the first step is to calm your mind and body. Nothing great comes from panic, overwhelm, or anxiety.
🥘Change the Inputs
If you want extraordinary results aka a quantum leap, YOU NEED TO CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. We all know Einstein’s definition of insanity—doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results—yet we often fall into that trap.
🍄Back to Microdosing. Again!!
This is why I advocate for microdosing. First, it helps calm your mind and body. Second, it boosts your creativity, providing more ideas and insights to help you move closer to your quantum leap. Third, incorporating it is, in itself, a significant change in your inputs.

🛣️Your Way or the Highway—What Makes Sense for YOU
I see that every day in my own life and business as an entrepreneur: what I am "supposed" to do. The morning routine, the funnel, the tripwire, the social media, the community,…
However, most of these things do not resonate with me. I don’t like baiting and switching. I don’t like pretending that The Microdose Diet is the only transformational approach out there or a magical one at that. And I am not interested in what I am supposed to think, look like, eat, buy, go, and do. I never liked the popular places and activities anyway.
So what makes sense for YOU? Pick and choose. You will save a lot of time, money, and energy that way.
Let go of what you are supposed to do—mindfully.
🧠Mindfully!
Yes, let go of what you are supposed to be and do mindfully, as some limiting beliefs and emotional wounds might be behind your resistance to doing things that might actually be good for you.
I have/had such limiting beliefs; for example, everything reasonable was boring, mixed with a great dose of powerlessness. And I didn’t have to look very far to see where these beliefs came from… but that is another story. Such beliefs were preventing me from being consistent and making choices that were actually good for me (regardless of whether they were the choices touted by favored media and influencers).
So, when blazing your own trail, I recommend you make a mindful stop at your limiting beliefs to ensure that your trailblazing is coming from the right place.
🌊Be the Blue Ocean - Write your Own Playbook
I am sure you have heard/read about Blue Ocean Strategy versus Red Ocean Strategy, which is about operating in less crowded areas of business. I will expand this thinking into doing YOU. Authenticity is very uncrowded, as there is only one you. So do things your way instead of everybody’s way. Do your things instead of everybody’s. Soon you will be in your very own Blue Ocean. Actually, you will be the Blue Ocean.
You don’t have to talk about what everyone is talking about, you don’t have to go where everyone is going, and you don’t have to do what everyone is doing. So, if you don’t care about going to “the cottage,” the right tennis club, Nosara, talking about Musk, AI, startups, innovation, believing in manifesting and that “money is energy,” or whatever your ecosystem seems to be mesmerized by, then just don’t.
But if you are truly enthused by these topics, then by all means, go ahead. Please just stop for a minute and think for yourself: do I really give a fuck about the latest trend and buzzword? Chances are, you don’t.
This approach applies to your career management. You don’t have to play by others’ rules. Chances are anyway you won’t win, the strategies have already been overused. It is like looking at what was working in social media a year ago, it is crowded and outdated.
DO YOU! It is very uncrowded and definitely the path to your quantum leap as none is there already. What is your playbook? What are your rules? What matters to you? Focus on that.
Operate where and how no one else is. Operate in a way that is aligned with YOU and that none can copy because no one else is YOU. There is way less competition there!
🪜Steps to Your Quantum Leap
Calm down. You won’t make any interesting or valuable moves if you are burned out. You won’t see anything clearly. Whether you microdose (legally or not 😉), meditate, change your diet, exercise, coach (with me!), or all of the above, find a way to calm your brain and nervous system.
Get rid of what is not working for you in your life and at work. What (or who?) is not pulling its weight? What is not bringing the value the inputs would suggest? I’ve written quite a bit about that, and you can refer to past newsletters (🚀How to unstuck yourself 🧹6 Tips to Spring Cleaning Your Life!). And don’t forget to make a stop at your limiting beliefs!
Add something new that is your own. It can be bold or not—it depends on your appetite for risk. You don’t have to stick with it forever (but try it for at least 6 weeks!).
Be on the lookout for your leads to a quantum leap. It will likely seem innocuous at first but can lead to way bigger and better things.
